What is NeuroReflexology treatment?
- NeuroReflexology Treatment is a massage technique with the use of hands and specially designed tools such as rollers with various sizes, a small reflex hammer, and special comb.
- Many organs in our body are regulated by central nervous system which includes the brain and the spinal cord. The central nervous system controls the hormone levels as well as coordinates the activities of all organs in the body.
- The main intention of neuroreflexology treatment is to strengthen the neuron network in our body by providing stimulation on the face, neck, head, and back areas. Strengthening the neural network in the body will improve the communication between the central nervous system and the organs; and as a result, overall health condition will be improved.
Who discovered NeuroReflexology treatment?
- Mrs. Le Thi Thu Cuc discovered this type of treatment by accident.
- Around 30 years ago, Mrs. Le Thi Thu Cuc suffered severe migraine for more than ten years. She found that by massaging her head a certain way with a comb and with her hands, the pain seemed to disappear. She continued the same technique for several days later and realized that the migraine had completely disappeared. She wondered why it could work for her.
- She started reading medical books to find the answer and also volunteered to help patients using the technique she found. She left Vietnam in 1990 and immigrated to the US.
- She has been practicing NeuroReflexology treatment for 25 years (3 years in Vietnam and 22 years in Houston, Texas).
How long does the treatment take?
Depending on the health condition, the treatment duration can vary. It usually requires at least 3 sessions per week for about 2 to 3 months. Most patients can see the positive results within 1 or 2 weeks.
